Regarding the Format of the 2024 General Conference
The 2024 General Conference (Hiroshima University) will be conducted in an "in-person format." All presentations will be delivered in person at Hiroshima University, and they will constitute the official presentations. For general sessions, there will be no online presentations or participation in listening. In the case of organized sessions, online listening (for a fee) will be available, but online presentations will not be offered.

1. Discontinuation of General Reception/Request for Ticket Printing
At the General Conference, we will not have a general reception desk. Participants are kindly requested to print their participation tickets in advance and bring them with them. Name tags will be provided at each presentation venue. Please present your participation ticket at the presentation venue.

2. About the General Conference Guide (Booklet) and Conference Program (Booklet)
The General Conference Guide (Booklet) will be included in the January issue of the society's journal and sent to members. The Conference Program (Booklet) will be distributed at the conference venue.

3. Regarding Session Time
For the upcoming General Conference, there have been changes to the session time compared to previous conferences. Half sessions will be from 9:00-10:30, 10:45-12:15, 13:45-15:15, and 15:30-17:00; full sessions will be from 9:00-12:15 and 13:45-17:00. Please note that lunch break will be from 12:15-13:45.

4. About the Conference App
In the 2023 Society Meeting, we used the conference app provided by Atlas Corporation, which offered the conference system "Confit." However, Atlas Corporation has decided to discontinue the provision of the conference app. Therefore, there will be no conference app provided for the 2024 General Conference. We kindly ask for your understanding. Due to the discontinuation of the conference app, we encourage you to use the web program "Confit."
