About AWPT 2018

Wireless power transfer (WPT) has become one of the hottest research topics for its huge industrial application potentials. Starting in 2015, Asian Wireless Power Transfer Workshop (AWPT) aims to provide a platform for researchers to share the latest research and development results related to the WPT technology. To continue promoting exchanges and collaborations among researchers and fostering further technology advances, AWPT2018 will be held at Tohoku University, Sendai, from November 2 to 4, 2018. AWPT is organized by the technical committee of wireless power transfer of IEICE Communications Society, and Engineering School of Tohoku University. AWPT Best Student Award will be delivered to the 3 excellent students presenting at the workshop. Also, AWPT Student Award will be delivered to several student presentations recognized by the Award Committee.

Sendai is one of the largest cities in the northern part of Japan and has a mild climate, 400 years of tradition as well as a harmonious combination of beautiful nature and urban facilities.
