The International Symposium on Network Virtualization focuses on enabling technologies for network virtualization. They are expected to serve as a basis for future generation, integrated infrastructure for information and communications technologies. Aiming at advancing network virtualization toward its broad deployment, the symposium provides a place for facilitating international research cooperation and interaction among researchers and engineers across the world. This year’s symposium, being the 8th of the annual meeting, focuses on enhancement of Beyond 5G mobile networks, where network softwarization and edge/cloud computing are key enablers. Issues on service diversification, communication speed increase, data control and diffusion acceleration for data use and artificial intelligence will be discussed from the viewpoint of its technological impacts on future networks and societal impacts by emerging services.
Speakers are invited from both industry and academia. Social aspects, such as human resources to support future ICT environment, will be addressed, too.
