\section{Introduction}

This document describes how to prepare and submit your papers for the
proceedings of 2005 Hawaii, IEICE and SITA Joint Conference on
Information Theory (HISC2005). 
Section~\ref{section:preparation} gives the style and format of papers,
and Section~\ref{section:submission} includes
the deadline and the postal address for the submission.
Please follow these instructions carefully.


\section{Preparation of papers}
\label{section:preparation} 

\subsection{Manuscript Format}

The manuscript must be at most 6 pages long, including title,
(sub-title), author's name, affiliation, address and E-mail, abstract
(within 100 words long) and keywords, and the main content. All parts
must be written in English.

The size of paper is A4. The printing area is 180 mm wide $\times$ 250
mm long with one or two column format. Figures, tables and photographs
also must be set in the area.

\subsection{Number of pages}

Manuscript must be within 6 pages including the first page with title, 
main content, all the figures, tables and photographs.


\subsection{Type size}

A 10 point type size will be recommended for main text, figures and
tables. The type size of the title and sub-title must be larger than the
main text type size.

\subsection{Figures, tables and photographs}

Figures, tables and photographs can be placed at any position in your
manuscript.

\subsection{Copyright}

It is the policy of IEICE to own the copyright to the full paper
manuscript published in Technical Report of IEICE.

\section{Submission of papers}
\label{section:submission}

The deadline of the submission is

which is very strict. Papers received after this date will not appear in
the proceedings.

Authors are requested to submit a \textit{camera-ready manuscript} to:
