1998年上智大学理工学部電気･電子工学科卒業，2000年同大学院理工学研究科修士課程修了，2003年同博士後期課程修了，博士（工学）．2004年日本電信電話（株）入社．現在，上智大学理工学部情報理工学科教授．無線通信システム，スマートIoTシステムに関する研究などに従事．2008年本会モバイルマルチメディア通信研究専門委員会幹事，2014〜2016年通信ソサイエティ会員事業企画幹事，2017年よりCommunications Express編集委員．2005，2008，2009，2011，2016年本会通信ソサイエティ活動功労賞などを受賞．
［Biography］
Masakatsu Ogawa received his B.E., M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1998, 2000, and 2003, respectively. He joined NTT in 2004. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Sophia University. His research interests include mobile communication systems and smart IoT systems. He is a senior member of IEICE and has served as a Secretary of the IEICE Technical Committee on Mobile Multimedia Communications in 2008 and a Director, Planning and Member Activities, IEICE-CS in 2014-2016. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of IEICE Communications Express from 2017. He received IEICE Communications Society Distinguished Contributions Award in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2016.
