1993年群馬大学大学院工学研究科博士後期課程修了．1993年群馬大学工学部助手，2007年群馬大学大学院工学研究科助教，2014年群馬大学大学院理工学府助教，2024年群馬大学大学院理工学府准教授，現在に至る．
分散アルゴリズム，組込みシステム，IoTなどの研究に従事．

Motegi Kazuhiro is an associate professor in the Science and Technology Education Center, School of Science and Technology, Gunma University. He received his Doctor of Engineering degree from Gunma University in 1993. His research interests include distributed algorithms, embedded systems, and IoT systems.
He is a member of IEICE, ASJ, JAMI, JSIAM, and SICE.
