Summary:
We propose a traffic-driven self-adaptive network that supports fast topology reconfiguration with wavelength routing to fulfill the requirements of various applications. A corresponding reconfiguration method is proposed to realize fast and hitless reconfiguration, and it will avoid packet loss and disorder during reconfiguration process. To acquire the most appropriate topology for the given traffic pattern, we propose a Machine Learning-based method to analyze traffic patterns and network topologies.
