Summary:
We have proposed a P2PTV traffic classification method to divide per-content traffic into short-time data units and then classify them by machine learning. However, its evaluation was insufficient because only PPStream was targeted. This paper performs the similar experiments on another P2PTV application, PPTV, and validates the proposed classification method by analyzing the classification results. The experimental results on 100 contents data show that the method can extract the unit traffic patterns on PPTV as well as on PPStream.
