Summary:
Interfering electromagnetic noises generated by electrical and electronic devices may affect the operation of other devices and wireless communications. Therefore, the CISPR standards specify that unwanted electromagnetic noises emitted from electrical and electronic equipment should be measured and a test called EMI measurement should be performed to prevent the specified limits from being exceeded. However, the broadband antennas used for EMI measurements have various problems. We developed and proposed a "folded long-hexagon antenna" as a broadband antenna that solves this problem. Prototype antenna were fabricated, and the characteristics of these antennas were examined.
