Summary:
A transmission-line transition is proposed for perpendicular connection between hollow waveguide and differential line on multi-layer dielectric substrate in 300GHz band. The geometrical parameters of the transition are optimized for impedance matching. The principles of the proposed transitions are summarized, and the simulated performances of the transitions are presented in this paper.
