Summary:
We proposed a new non-destructive inspection method for underground fiberglass-reinforced plastic mortar (FRPM) pipelines utilizing temporal synthesis of microwave guided-modes propagating along a FRPM pipe-wall. Using this method, we can detect a foreign object with various sizes and types located on the outside of the pipe-wall.
