Summary:
Transportation and distribution of goods by car is an essential element of modern society. In this study, we focus on determining the most appropriate route for the distribution of supplies to disaster areas. This paper proposes a new route searching method that minimizes periods of supply disruption at each point, over the conventional method that prioritized minimizing travel costs. This paper describes in detail the relaxation problem for the branch-and-bound method and the results of numerical experiments.
