Summary:
This paper proposes a model and measure to estimate impact by cascading failure for power networks. This network is modeled by bipartite graph whose nodes represent power plants or areas users living. If we have a failure of power plant then some areas experience stops of power supply and request helps to other power plant. However, such requests cause overloads of surviving power plants resulting second and third stops of power plants. These process will be iterated. Our method can simulate this process and can evaluate impact measure by surviving power volume per power volume before cascading failure.
