Summary:
We present detailed measurements and their analysis of the GAWBS-induced depolarization noise that occurs in a four-core fiber (4CF). We found that a large number of small depolarization noise components were induced by higher-order TRn,m modes in 4CF, and the total power of the depolarization noise was almost the same as that in standard single-mode fiber.
