Summary:
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency scheme said to be invented by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. It uses a technology called blockchain where transactions are accumulated in a format called 'block' and are chained to be used as a distributed ledger. Since then, many types of blockchain are introduced, and used in various applications other than cryptocurrency. We will discuss how blockchain works, and how it would benefit the society.
