We report on short-reach intensity-modulated and direct-detected (IM/DD) space-division multiplexing (SDM) transmissions of 200-Gbps and 400-Gbps over a homogeneous four-core fiber for data-center networks (DCNs) and optical 200/400 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) links and interconnects [1,2].
