Summary:
This paper introduces the draft Recommendation of the ITU-T SG5 related to the protection of existing electronic devices in telecommunications and data centre against HPEM attack. The paper explain the security threat due to the HPEM effects, the vulnerability of the electronic device and the mitigation calculation method, using some examples.
