Summary:
This paper investigates amplitude death induced by an unstable dynamic connection. This connection can be considered as an extension of the dynamic feedback controller based on an unstable low pass filter. We prove that the unstable dynamic connection can induce amplitude death at the steady state with the well-known odd number property. The analytical results are verified by numerical simulations.
