Summary:
Acorn masting is a well know phenomenon in wildlife management. We can model each individual acorn tree as nonlinear oscillator and all the trees are coupling in their pollination. Spatial synchrony is observed as a common phenomenon and recognized important topics for ecosystems management. In this paper, we demonstrate our GIS based masting model to describe their feature of synchrony.
