Summary:
Complex phenomena are ubiquitous in the real world and these phenomena are often observed as marked point process, for example, transactions in stock markets, seismic events, neural systems, and so on. To investigate possible nonlinear dynamics that produce such complex phenomena, one of the important tasks is to understand how dynamic systems are connected. In this paper, we propose a method for reconstructing connectivity of nonlinear dynamical systems by transforming marked point processes to continuous time series.
