Summary:
We experimentally investigate common-signal-induced synchronization in photonic integrated circuits (PICs) driven by constant-amplitude random-phase light. We measure cross-correlation value between the outputs of the two PICs when the feedback phase is changed. The temporal waveforms of PICs show high cross-correlation when the feedback phases are matched, whereas low correlation is obtained when they are mismatched.
