Summary:
In this study, two rings of 5 and 7 van der Pol oscillators coupled by resistors are researched. These rings show 5-phase and 7-phase synchronizations when they are not coupled. Hence, the whole system becomes a frustrated network after coupling. We investigate synchronization phenomena by computer simulations.
