Summary:
In this paper, we propose a multiple-scales method for finding an approximate solution of state equations describing nonlinear circuits that contain both very large and very small natural frequencies. The state equations are represented by the system of autonomous nonlinear differential equations. The proposed multiple-scales method is based on a matrix function and a perturbation technique. As an example, we use the Rayleigh’s equation and show that the envelope of an oscillator can be calculated separately.
