Summary:
In this work, a novel resonator model with Coulomb damping has been developed. Fitting analysis between simulation results and experimental data shows that the proposed model exhibits better performance compared to the conventional mass-spring with viscous dampers model. The piecewise characteristics existing in the proposed model also show a rich variety of nonlinear behaviour.
