Summary:
In this paper, an adaptive mesh generation algorithm will be proposed for the surface model based on 1-parameter groups of linear Lie algebra. Considering apparently local variation of a surface from a viewpoint, a set of adaptive meshes can be obtained directly from its invariants. The proposed method is expected to be used in an information network system, which sends/receives only small size of information on objects and represent their shapes according to specification of each terminal.
