Summary:
Identical uncoupled limit-cycle oscillators receiving common noise show various patterns of coherence, including complete desynchronization, phase clustering, and phase synchronization. We extend the averaging method employed earlier to analyze the global coherence properties of limit-cycle oscillators receiving weak Gaussian white-noise [1] to the case where the common noise is compound random Poisson impulses.
