Summary:
In this paper, we consider ACO-OFDM (Asym- metrically Clipped Optical-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) based VLC (Visible Light Communication) systems for deep-sea communications. As the deep-sea chan- nel model, we use the model which includes the effects of AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise) and attenuation due to water, chlorophyl, and fulvic and humic acid. We evaluate the ACO-OFDM system in terms of BER and average channel capacity.
