Summary:
We revisit the "weak" relay eavesdropper channel studied by [1], who introduced noise-forwarding (NF). Using ideas in [2], [3], [4], we suggest a novel sliding window compressforward achievable scheme ? with Wyner-Ziv (WZ) binning but without NF. Wireless engineers would prefer the reduced decoding delay compared to NF-cum-backward decoding. Discarding NF enables multi-block equivocation calculations (omitted due to space). Several cases are identified; a case-by-case judicious choice of code sizes to maximize secrecy rate has been developed.
