Summary:
To evaluate the system performance over fast fading chan- nel, we let N = 16 and assumed randomly generated QPSK symbols {bm}N-1/m=0 of length Lm = 6 for all users, and compared the signal to noise ratio (SNR) vs. bit error rate (BER) for the CS-CDMAs with the modified M-sequence (MM) [1] and polyphase Z-CCC (PZ-CCC) [2] of length L = 255 and 256, respectively. We assumed P = 3 four paths Rayleigh fading channel for uniformly distributed power delay profile (PDP) with carrier frequency 2GHz and evaluated the resistance of Doppler frequency shifts of the normalized maxi- mum Doppler frequencies fmaxTs = 0:05; 0:01, corresponding moving velocities fmaxTs are 270km; 54km per hour. As shown in Fig. 2, the proposed scheme is the most resistant sequence against Doppler shift for the case fmaxTs = 0:05. Thus, the proposed system is a complexity reduced and Doppler resistant ICI-free communication, and hence, is suitable for the downlink of vehicle transmission.
