Summary:
In the paper, a computationally-efficient layered relay-and-antenna selection (LRAS) is proposed by using an adaptive discrete stochastic approximation (A-DSA) technique for two-way multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying systems in correlated channels. This LRAS algorithm is studied based on the achievable sum-rate (ASR) maximization under an equal power allocation. Notably, the A-DSA LRAS enables to reduce the complexity burden significantly compared to other existing selection strategies for MIMO two-way multiple-AF-relay systems.
