Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Previously, I proposed a new coordinate system called "order coordinate system" and used the distances based on it to construct stroke correspondence between a standard character pattern and a handwritten character for automated marking. In this paper, I report a method for substroke correspondence construction between two corresponded strokes, using a newly proposed "Aggressive DP Matching (ADPM)." The experimental results show that the ADPM works well for identifying substrokes in handwritten characters, although there are some strokes which contains intrinsically ambiguous substrokes.
