Abstract(in English) | The biometric information are unchangeable basically throughout the life, and hence there is a high risk in the case of the leak. Therefore, a biometric authentication that a user can reregister body parts in any time is desirable. In addition, a threat of the generation of counterfeit and a disclosurability for user's personal information extracted from the body part should be reduced enough. To satisfy the requirements, we propose a micro-biometric authentication using the minute pattern of the body part in this study. In this article, we implemented a prototype system for the micro-biometric authentication using the human skin texture imaged by a microscope. |
