Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Person recognition from a CCTV footage is recently becoming more and more important for criminal investigation. For the person recognition, temporally and spatially high resolved footage is preferable, but capturing and saving such a footage has a difficulty because of the limitation of the communication bandwidth and storage capacity. Therefore, temporal and spatial resolution of the footage should be appropriately set. In this paper, we focus on the walking person recognition using multi-modal features, and discuss appropriate temporal and spatial resolution settings for storing footage.
