Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Novel view synthesis (NVS) is a technique for synthesizing an image from an arbitrary viewpoint given by a user using multiple input images capturing a scene. This technique can be used in such applications as telepresence that makes users virtually experience a remote scene. In this study, we propose a new method based on view-dependent texture mapping that suppresses blurring in texture or structure, considering the continuity in the synthesized image in texture selection.
