A wrinkle detection and support system for ironing beginners

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose methods of wrinkle detection and presentation of wrinkle position. We identified 15 effective features based on multi-resolution analysis, fractal analysis, cooccurrence matrix and run-length matrix. As a result, four states of clothes (wrinkle, plane, loose and tuck) were classified with a F-value of 0.94. Additionally, three types of wrinkle presentation methods were proposed, in which the method of presenting all wrinkles at a time was turned to be effective for users to plan the ironing strategies.
