Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The measurement method of scapular movements in noninvasively has not been yet established due to the error of the skin motion artifact. To analyze scapular movements precisely, it is necessary to develop a new technique. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to develop methods to measure a scapular orientation noninvasively by the motion capture system. The estimation of the scapular orientation was conducted by the surface model that was created from a grid of 100 reflected markers on the skin covering the scapula. Maximum RMSE was 8.34 [deg.]. Therefore this method was probably suitable to estimate the scapular orientation. Next, the dynamic scapular orientation in the shooting motion of the archery was measured as one example of all sports movement.
