Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, the purpose is to detect the standing position of elderly person using an application of a successive connection method of load sensors at a tile carpet size resolution. In this case, we can detect the resistance level of load sensors by a standard type C-MOS gate IC. Consequently, we can directly detect the successive connection signal line's (Xn and Yn grid directions) resistance level. The main point of this application is the detection of the intersection point of these low level resistance signal lines. This proposal of indoor system has several features such direct detection as low power and safety.
