Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recognition of the importance of presenting tactile force information relating to the user in VR simulation situations such as surgery, there is demand for the development of a wearable haptic device. This paper proposes a new haptic device design based on electrical and vibrotactile stimulation. The method involves fingertip position control by applying electrical stimuli and vibration to the fingertips in order to provide force information and sensory information. The results of related experimentation show the prototype system's applicability as a haptic device in a virtual space.
