Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we show relations of the compression ratio and the optimum parameter, which maximizes the performance of the additive watermarking scheme on the evaluation criteria ver.3 developed by IEICE-ISS Information Hiding Criteria (IHC) committee. The criteria suppose the watermarked image is compressed at delivery and then compressed and cropped at redistribution. The criteria regulate the lowest quality and maximum compression ratio of redistributed image without detection error. The experimental results show that under the strong compression the file size less than 20%, the value of optimum parameter are different from the value used in the previous work. We also show a parameter selection method under the requirement that is stronger than IHC evaluation criteria about the extraction error probability.
