Abstract(in English) We propose a new approach of embedding multibit information for palette-based images in this paper. The secret information is embedded by changing the pixel values for each 2^ + 1 pixels. Therefore, the proposed method can embed more information than the conventional method. Our method decreases the degradation of image quality, because the algorithm has been constructed so as not to vastly change the pixel values with large color differences between before and after the changes. Simulation results show the superiority of our method compared to the conventional method.
