Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a selective encryption scheme for JPEG2000 coded images using the Tile-partition function. JPEG2000 has the Tile-partiption function that divides an image into multiple tiles. First, we choose one of three color components for the whole image and encrypt it. Next, we extract the ROI area from the tiles and select another or multiple target color components for the ROI area to be encrypted so as to control the strength of the encryption. Furthermore, the proposed method avoids generating the marker codes that are two-bytes codes larger than FF90_h. Simulation results show the effectiveness of our scheme.
