Wireless Multi-hop Cache Network for Regional Content Distribution

Abstract(in English) In order to distribute the regional commercial contents such as coupon etc., a wireless network consisted of mobile nodes is discussed in this paper. In a wireless network, in one case, if nodes are not able to access remote server directly, they could not receive any contents data. In another case, if every node accesses remote server to request an identical data, unnecessary repetition will occur. For the former case, it becomes possible to receive data after the multi-hop wireless network function is provided because multi-hop can relay data requests and responses. For the latter case, the repetitive data could be reduced by cache function. In this paper, a proposal called multi-hop wireless cache network, combines both multi-hop function and cache function to perform the regional contents distribution. The traffic simulator and cooperative simulations are applied to demonstrate the effect of contents distribution and traffic reduction.
