Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Swell paper is one method of making tactile graphics. Its foaming heights are affected by several factors such as the heat setting, the position, color, size of the graphics, and the type of printers and paper. In this study, we changed three of these parameters: the heat setting and the position and the size of the graphics. The foaming heights of the tactile graphics with various parameters were measured by using a 3D measurement system. As the results, we found the quantitative effects of these parameters on the foaming heights of tactile graphics.
