A study of Twitter based location system for tram

Abstract(in English) We describe the location notification system using a communication platform such as a social network. We previously, have developed a system for notifying the position of trams using GPS. This system has been tested on Hankai trams that run through Sakai from Osaka. In the development, the most important points are possible to maintain the system at a low cost. Low introduction cost is also better. This is because the introduction to many transportation is expected to be promoted. (For example, the local community). System, I have implemented divided into information distribution server and automotive clients. Major operating costs are maintenance costs on the server-side and a communication cost in the client-side. Aiming to maintenance cost savings of server, I was considering how to replace the information delivered to the social network service.
