Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we analyze the change of the arm movement due to the signing rate of Japanese Sign Language. The arm movements were recorded at the three signing rates (fast, normal, and slow) using the three-dimensional position measuring device, and we were analyzed the relation between the change of the rate and the change of the arm movement. As a result, it was suggested that the change of the rate is represented by changing in the movement length of the arm than changing in the movement speed of the arm, and we were classified the variation of the start and end position of the arm movement for each movement features. Additionally, we suggested a rough tendency for changing in the movement length and the movement speed of the arm.
