Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Using a thickness controlled Laue type angle analyzer one can obtain high spatial resolution and high contrast imaging. That refraction-based imaging is easily obtained by computational calculation using 2 images simultaneously acquired is particularly of importance. This is the optics called x-ray dark-field imaging. This is a double-crystal arrangement that is free from wavelength divergence and a specimen locates in between 2 crystals. This XDFI can visualize soft tissue such as cancer cells, articular cartilage, fine tissue structure of blood vessel, cholesterol. How to obtain 2D and 3D images and their application to medicine is described in detail.
