Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an automated design of an energy function of a binary graph cuts based segmentation. A conventional graph cut energy function consists of a regional term and a boundary term. We propose a method to determine coefficients which control the trade-off between the two terms at each voxel. Specifically, we formulated the problem of deciding the coefficients as an optimization problem and derived the solution. This paper describes the results of the principle experiments using artificial 3D images.
