Abstract(in English) The authors have been proposed the failure rate estimation method considering the change in number of equipments for telecommunication networks. This is a method to evaluate past failures, and is not able to perform the prediction of the near future. In this article, the authors propose a method to estimate the number of spare equipments necessary for the next month from the failure rates of the past several months. Moreover, the example of estimation using actual outage data is also shown.
