Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Danger sound detection methods with environmental sounds have been proposed for monitoring the safety of the elder people. In the past, an acoustic model of danger sounds has been frequently employed for danger sound detection. However, the conventional method has a problem that detection accuracy of danger sounds is insufficient. Therefore, the study of the acoustic features for the acoustic models is required. We then try to consider the acoustic features suitable for danger sounds. We paid attention to that danger sounds can be classified into the sound of multiple collisions and the sound of single collision. And, we propose the multi-stage danger sound detection based on the power envelope for the sound of multiple collisions and the spectral ratio for the sound of single collision. From an evaluation experiment, we confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method.
