Abstract(in English) An international standardization body for mobile communications, 3GPP (3rd generation partnership project), defined a new standard named EVS (Enhanced Voice Services) codec for future VoLTE (Voice over Long Term Evolution). This codec includes integrated technologies of low-delay speech and audio coding. This paper presents an overview of the specifications, some components technologies, and subjective quality assessment.
